Our students have consistently excelled in academics, securing top ranks in university exams and winning numerous scholarships. They have also made significant contributions in research, presenting papers at national conferences and publishing in reputed journals.
Achievements of Institution
30 batches of Diploma students (Approx. 1800), 15 batches of B.Pharm students (Approx 800),10 batches M.Pharm Pharmacognosy students (Approx 70), 9 batches of M.Pharm Pharmaceutics (Approx 90) and 7 batches of M.Pharm Pharmacology (Approx.56) students in total approx. 2800 have come out successfully with 100 % results.
This College has all necessary facilities that can be dream of in a college right from toe to topknot with hostel facilities for both Girls and Boys. The College has a galaxy of brilliant staff with high academic records and team with ideas & thoughts.
The Institute is having 04 buses to carry staff and students from Barpali town to College and vice-versa. The Institute has 05 Boy’s hostel in town and 02 Girl’s hostel in the college campus. For emergency health problem, One Tata Magic has been provided to meet the requirement of girl’s students for health checkup during night time.
The Institution has an excellent central library with provision for separate staking area and reading hall. Library is an important part of any educational institution and we have given top most priority to upgrade library. Currently, we have around 12434 Books. We are subscribing for 36 National and 10 International research journals and one e-journal. The college is having more than 28 lakhs worth of Books in library, more than 90 lakhs of equipment & instruments and above all the cost of building is more than 3 crores besides other recurring expenses.
We have already installed CCTV cameras as per the need of BPUT to monitor discipline in examinations as well as throughout the campus to monitor the day to day affairs for security purpose. We are providing digital classrooms for our students.

NPTEL Local Chapters
Our Institution create a milestone at COVID Pandemic situation for students learning activities through National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL). NPTEL Online Certification Courses provides to the students an online portal, for 4-, 8-, or 12-week online courses at: http://nptel.ac.in with basic core courses in sciences and humanities. From March 2014 NPTEL has been offering online certification for its courses, the highlight being the certification exam through which the student gets an opportunity to earn a certificate from the IITs. These are available at: https://swayam.gov.in/NPTEL.
To take this initiative forward and to encourage more students across colleges to participate in this initiative, SWAYAM-NPTEL chapter in colleges were set up under the headship of a faculty member of the college, as Single Point of Contact (SPOC). SWAYAM-NPTEL keeps the SPOC updated about all the latest NPTEL initiatives and gives him information to disseminate among the teacher and students. SPOC ensures that students are active in a course, are submitting their assignments on time and also helps to clarify the doubts they may have. The Pharmaceutical College, Barpali is a registered local chapter in the SWAYAM-NPTEL.
Nodal Centre For Career Counselling And Guidance Programme (NCCG)
From 2021-23 session our Institution is declared as Nodal centre for conducting career counseling and guidance Programme in collaboration with BPUT, Rourkela on various eminent speakers.
